I sat on insanity’s edge

I sat on insanity’s edge and what a wonderful view
it came in shades of gray and grey and blue and blue
it flowed like lightning and shocked like water
oh what a beautiful view what a truly great view!

if only I had one to share it with
the true cause of this dilemma is
that insanity’s edge
lies differently for all who see it

one sees blue and red and green and black and purple and the great perhaps
one sees flowers and bugs and carapaces of loved ones and malformed lies
one sees nothing and everything all bundled into one and all and none and some
oh what a beautiful view what a truly great view!
